My name is Jamie Reese. The CEO of Iconic Studio & Academy,LLC formly known as Iconic Lashes by Jamie, LLC. I would like to thank you to our site coming today. 

I’ve always loved beauty. I hate bad skin. I would spend counts hours in the mirror and spend so much money on skincare products. I came from being a privileged child with the mindset of “It’s my way or the highway.” I love luxuries things in life and these jobs only want to pay you so much. I knew that wasn’t going to work. So I knew I had to create a job and a life for me that one I would enjoy, and two that would keep up with my lifestyle. So in 2016, I started planning to get my business off the ground. Nov. 2016, I made the biggest move to Houston, TX with my savings , a dream and a plan. I made a promise to myself, once I got settled in Texas, I was going to become my own boss. I did just that.

After all these years of brainstorming and seconding guessing myself I paid for a Eyelash extensions class but the day I took the course I loss everything due to a flood in TX. So trust me when I say it wasn't a overnight success. I wasn’t the best at lashing  when I first started. I wanted to quit so many days but I knew this was my moment to be my own boss. I didn’t think it was hard as it is. Social media will rush you and make you feel so little at times. I never gave up on my craft. I got flyers made to brand myself better. I wasn’t hitting the numbers I wanted at first but once it I stayed on it. Those numbers came around. I went from Overlooked to Overbooked.

The early mornings and late nights I stay up brainstorming and mapping the direction of this company. I’ve had my ups and downs just like any other company. I’ve learned you can’t rush success nor perfection. God is amazing. Never compare your chapter one to someone chapter seven. I’ve attended tons of continuing my education course, I am now I am Licensed Medical Esthetician. My company is right where I want it and need it to be. I’ve revamped my company so I can bring my vision to life like I’ve always wanted to. I have transition my Lash Bar to Day Spa to a Beauty academy because I always wanted to provide the best services to offer to everyone including training the best staff so we can be #1. 

I’m telling my story because you should never give up because if you give up you will never know your true worth. I want you to take my story and get motivated its only one way up from here. Your journey won’t be hard as mine but you will go through life challenging situations, DO NOT FOLD.

Your mom, best friend , or spouse won’t see your dream exactly how you see it. Only way to show someone is to prove it. Bring your dreams to life.
